Thousands of new NHS dental places are to be created in Penzance, thanks to the planned opening of a new surgery.
The Chapel Dental Practice in Camborne has agreed to provide a branch in the town, offering places for some 2,800 patients.
NHS Cornwall and Isles of Scilly has signed a new dental contract with the practice that will enable all of the 560 patients currently waiting in the town to have access to NHS treatment.
The surgery, which will be in Market Jew Street, is close to the railway and bus stations. It is expected to open in November.
