Dorset Fire Service is warning home owners to take precautions after a series of chimney fires in the county. 30 thousand chimneys go up in flames in the UK each year with around 9 thousand causing serious damage.
And as the days get colder, people are being urged to pay to get their chimneys swept to avoid having to pay a greater price. Martin Dowse reports.
