PICTURES: Flooding at Lynmouth
There was no additional flooding in Lynmouth at high tide at 8.30am. Last night Riverside Road flooded two feet deep in places washing seaweed on to the road but thankfully most businesses were sand bagged and the water hasn't got in.
The Bath Hotel's Cellar was flooded but it hasn't affected the operation of the hotel. Locals were on flood watch and have taken all appropriate measures to protect themselves. There is minimal damage although a few cars last night had water into their footwells.
