St. Ives Town Council will decide tonight on whether to ban dogs from beaches in the town from next summer.
The proposal is for a daytime ban on harbour beach in summer and a total summertime ban on the other main beaches. Dog walkers in the town are angry that the suggested alternative beaches are unsuitable at high tide.
