Two men have been acquitted of health and safety charges after the death of ELO rock star Mike Edwards.
Mr Edwards was driving on the A381 near Totnes in 2010 when a 600kg hay bale rolled down a steep field and crushed his vehicle. The former ELO cellist died instantly.
Brian Burden of Bickleigh Farm, Halwell, and Russell Williams of Forces Cross, Blackawton, denied two health and safety charges and today a jury in Plymouth found them not guilty.
