The rain has caused travel chaos throughout the region today with train services disrupted and commuters forced on to replacement bus services.
Services have been suspended between Plymouth and Bristol after flooding at Tiverton Parkway.
And there were also no trains between Exeter St Davids and Yeovil Junction after a landslip on the line between Honiton and Axminster.
The problems could continue into the weekend.
