Chiefs secure first win in Heineken Cup
The Exeter Chiefs have won their first ever game in the Heineken Cup after they beat Scarlets 22-16.
Haydn Thomas crossed the line in the fifth minute, with the rest of the points coming from the boot of Gareth Steenson.
In the British and Irish Cup, Plymouth Albion narrowly won 21-20 at Aberavon, thanks to a 75th minute try from Wayne Sprangle and Paul Roberts' penalty two minutes from the end.
The Cornish Pirates play Swansea tomorrow at the Mennaye Field (2pm).
