The Housing Minister, Mark Prisk, is due to visit Devon's newest town today. It comes as a £20 million grant is awarded to speed up building work in Cranbrook, which has slowed in the current economic climate.
The money will help the construction of more than 6,000 new homes and new transport links and should create 1,500 jobs.
