A gloomy start to the day with plenty of cloud cover and some mist and fog lingering over higher ground. Some cloud maybe thick enough for a spot of drizzle.
There is the chance of the cloud breaking in the afternoon to allow a glimmer of sunshine but generally keeping overcast but mostly dry. A mild day but breezy along the Cornish coast.
The sun is out, but is it here to stay?
Some lovely weather on offer today but do make the most of it as things are turning rather autumnal next week.
