Truro air crash remains a mystery

A report into what caused a plane to crash near Truro last August has failed to find out what caused the engine failure.

The Air Accident Investigation Branch report says the 1975 built four-seater Reims Rocket Cessna 172 lost power and crash landed at a farm airstrip on 20th August, damaging its landing gear, propeller, wing and tail.

The unnamed pilot and passenger were unhurt in the incident.
