Tom, a German shorthaired pointer, was rescued by the Dartmouth RNLI crew after ending up perched on a rocky ledge at the foot of a cliff. He had slipped and fallen during a walk with his owner at North Hallsands, Devon.
He was transported away from the scene by lifeboat before being put in a padded container and reunited with his owner. Despite breaking several bones, vets say Tom will survive.
