Today's early weather outlook
Rain will reach all areas this morning and could be heavy at times and we could see plenty of surface water on the roads.
The rain will linger over the east in the afternoon allowing most of Somerset, Devon and Cornwall to become dry for a time but then some frequent and heavy showers will push in over the north coast later on in the afternoon. The wind will pick up as well reaching gale force over the west.
The sun is out, but is it here to stay?
Some lovely weather on offer today but do make the most of it as things are turning rather autumnal next week.
