A member of the Cornish-based sea shanty group Fisherman's Friends who was seriously injured in a freak accident which also killed the band's tour manager has died in hospital, it has been announced.
Trevor Grills, 54, suffered serious head injuries when he was hit by a falling metal door at the G Live concert venue in Guildford, Surrey, on Saturday.
The group's promoter, Paul McMullen, died at the scene from leg injuries. Mr Grills was taken to St George's Hospital in Tooting, London, but died on Monday night, Surrey Police confirmed.
In a statement, the band paid tribute to Mr Grills as "a much-loved and valued friend".
