A woman from Somerset was one of three people who died in an avalanche in Scotland.

RAF Flight Lieutenant Fran Capps from Dulverton was caught in the avalanche in the Chalamain Gap area of the Highlands on Thursday.

She was said to be an experienced climber. Her Commanding Officer Georgina Mews said she had 'unbounded passion and energy'.
