A report reviewing the work of a former consultant obstetrician and gynaecologist is to be published today [Thursday] by The Royal Cornwall Hospitals NHS Trust.
Mr Rob Jones was suspended by the Trust back in May amid concerns there may be patients who have suffered complications following surgery carried out by him.
More than 1,500 women who were treated by him at Treliske were written to. Mr Jones said he had always followed national protocols.
Mr Jones is the same consultant who delivered the Prime Minister's baby Florence three years ago, when the couple were on holiday in the county.
A Cornish woman left incontinent after an operation by Rob Jones has begun a campaign to ensure no women miss the deadline for claims.
A new report has revealed that a catalogue of 'missed opportunities' lead to a Cornish gynaecologist continuing to work in the region.
