A Dorset councillor has been condemned for making offensive remarks about staff at a coffee shop. Peter Chapman wrote on his facebook page that the women working at Costa in Dorchester were 'bone idle' and 'in need of a good beating'.
The Weymouth and Portland politican has now apologised for the comments, but has blamed opponents for leaking remarks he said were made privately. David Woodland reports.
