Cornwall Council's waste panel committee has decided to roll out 'seagull proof' bags across the county.
The hessian sacks were trialled for three months in Porthleven, Looe, Newquay, Polperro and St Austell.
Up to three plastic binbags can fit inside the sacks. They will cost £3.50, and will be available from the council's one stop shops in a couple of months.
