31-year-old Junior Bradshaw and 34-year-old Kevin Liverpool deny three charges against them. They were arrested near her home in mid-Devon in June 2011.
A samurai sword, two hammers, a hose pipe, balaclavas and roll of gaffer tape were found in their car.
