Exeter Chiefs 27 - 6 London Irish

Exeter Chiefs match against London Irish began with a minute's silence for the late Baroness Thatcher.

Before the game, Exeter MP Ben Bradshaw said the decision to hold a silence was wrong because Lady Thatcher was a divisive figure.

The silence went ahead without interruption, and when the match finally got underway, the Chiefs won by 27 points to 6.

Gareth Steenson kicked five penalties, with Matt Jess (61) and David Ewers (79) crossing the line.
