West Country farmer says every TB test is a 'nightmare'

Farmers want urgent action as Government statistics reveal the number of herds infected by TB has risen five-fold since 1996.

West Country badger cull

A cull of around 5,000 badgers can now legally get underway in Somerset and Gloucestershire as the Government tries to stop the spread of Bovine TB in cattle. If it is a success, it is expected to be rolled out in other parts of the country.
