Surf powerboat racers from all over the country are at Watergate Bay this weekend for the Thundercat National Championships.

Powered by 50 horse-power outboard engines, the four-metre-long inflatable catamarans can reach speeds of up to 60 mph.

It's the second time the national event has been held in Cornwall.
