Another £1 M to be spent tackling floods in Devon

County councillors in Devon have agreed to invest more than £1 million in a flood risk management scheme. It will investigate high risk areas such as Modbury, Uplyme, Kingsbridge and Cullompton.

It will support other investments already made to improve flood risks. More than 1,000 homes and businesses in the county flooded during unprecedented rainfall last year.
