Swindon Town manager Kevin MacDonald has left the club by mutual consent after just 14 games in charge.
The Scot missed last night's friendly defeat at non-league Forest Green Rovers, with a club spokesman insisting he was missing for personal reasons.
Reports claimed the 52-year-old was considering his position, and the club has now confirmed his departure:
Swindon Town Football Club can confirm that after further meetings with the Board of Directors today, Kevin MacDonald has left his position as First Team Manager by mutual consent.
The Club would like to thank Kevin for all his hard work during his time at Swindon Town and wish him all the best for the future.
Assistant Manager, Mark Cooper, will take charge until a replacement is found.
