The school of a young boy who died on Friday have said they are "shocked and saddened" by his death.
Five year old Joshua Patterson was found with his 24 year old mother Katherine Hooper at the bottom of a 70ft cliff in Dartmoor National Park.
The body of his brother, 2 year old Samuel Patterson, was found at Katherine's home in Paignton.
We are all extremely shocked and saddened by this tragic news. Joshua was an amazing little boy whose bubbly personality and huge smile brightened everyone’s day. He will be greatly missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family.
Our focus now is to give support and care to our pupils and staff who are, understandably, very distressed. We will then turn our attention to how we can remember a very special little boy.
It would not be appropriate to make any further statement whilst a police investigation is taking place.
