Cyclists and community react to Tour announcement

Devon's economy got a big sporting boost today with the news that cycling's Tour of Britain will once again be winding its way through the county in September. It is estimated it will bring more than £7 million into the county - as well as showing off Devon to a global television audience.

Last year's Tour De France and Olympic champion Sir Bradley Wiggins will be there, along with Mark Cavendish. Here is Matthias Kurth's full report.

Tour of Britain 2013

The Tour of Britain cycling race arrives in Devon. It is estimated that Stage 6 from Sidmouth to Haytor will bring more than £7 million into the county.
