A band of heavy rain brought misery to homeowners, holidaymakers and businesses across the South West today after flash flooding left properties under water.
Even a hospital department was forced to close, as the Met Office issued a severe weather warning ahead of further heavy rainfall. Our correspondent Seth Conway has this report.
