North East Somerset MP Jacob Rees-Mogg has moved to distance himself from a right-wing group that apparently suggested black Britons should be asked to "return to their natural homelands".

The Tory backbencher was guest of honour at the Traditional Britain Group's annual dinner in London in May.

But the North East Somerset MP says he is not a supporter, and had been "shocked" by comments on its Facebook page.
