The holidaymaker who died during a snorkelling trip in West Cornwall has been identified as Peter Ivimey. The 52 year old Londoner got into trouble on Thursday as he snorkelled off Prussia Cove.
He was airlifted by the coastguard and taken to the Royal Cornwall Hospital in Truro but pronounced dead on arrival. Police said Mr Ivimey had travelled down from his London home for a camping trip. His next of kin have been informed.
