Torquay men plead guilty over 'terrorism' incident

Two men from Torquay have pleaded guilty to charges of terrorism and criminal damage following an incident in the town in January.

Bomb disposal experts were called to Lymington Road in the New Year.

20 year old John Michael Roddy of Lymington Road was charged under the Terrorism Act, as well as conspiracy to send malicious messages and conspiracy to cause criminal damage.

19 year old Tobias Daniel Ruth of Morgan Road has been convicted of conspiracy to send malicious messages and conspiracy to cause criminal damage.

Both will be sentenced on September the 20th.
