Tomorrow is the official launch of the first shop in Tiverton to open under the so-called Portas Pilot scheme.
The town was awarded a hundred thousand pounds from the Mary Portas fund in July last year, but has been criticised for taking so long to show any results. So is this the start of a revitalised Tiverton? Bob Cruwys reports.
