Stephen Gilbert, the MP for St Austell & Newquay has received praise over Twitter in response to his tweet about how he helped rescue a woman from the Thames by throwing her a life-buoy.
The MP tweeted: "shaken after seeing a body float past House of Commons terrace - she moved, I threw a life-buoy and she's now been rescued! #Result"
