Research from a charity has found that only 6% of properties in the South West are affordable for families looking to buy their first home.
Several affordability "black-spots" were also uncovered by the study:
- Exeter, where there were just six affordable properties
- East Dorset, where there were 16 affordable homes for sale
- Christchurch where there were 11
