New research claims thousands of renters in the South West don't ask their landlords to fix problems in their home for fear of being evicted.

Tenants fear eviction if they ask for repairs

Thousands of people who rent houses or flats across the Westcountry are too scared of being evicted to ask their landlord to fix a problem, according to new reseach by the charity Shelter. A poll found that 1 in 12 tenants avoided asking for repairs in case they were forced to leave.
