The go ahead has finally been given for 9 million pounds worth of improvements to the airports at Land's End and the Isles of Scilly.

The European Commission says the improvements will increase the accessibility to the Cornwall region, a key part of Europe’s transport policy. It's hoped it will also help the Scillies in its bid to tackle a worrying decline in tourism.
