The Church of England's most senior woman bishop has given her Easter message.
The Venerable Rachel Treweek is due to become the new Bishop of Gloucester.
She takes over the role from The Right Reverend Michael Perham, who retired in November.
She says celebrating the resurrection of Christ is a time for reflection and hope.
"That is at the core of the Christian message which is that Jesus died for all of us out of love, but Jesus rose again, and therefore the Christian message is one of enormous hope - so that's the key message of Easter Day and one I hope we'll be sharing across the diocese all year round."
