Cameron and Clegg campaign for West Country votes

David Cameron spoke at the Bristol and Bath Science Park.

Both Prime Minister David Cameron and Deputy Prime Minister Nick Clegg were election campaigning in our region again today, after clashing over the coalition's record in Thursday's seven-party debate.

In a speech at the Bristol and Bath Science Park, the Prime Minister committed to lowering taxes and raising the personal tax-free allowance.

Meanwhile, the Liberal Democrat leader took his campaign to Bath. During his time in the city he said that the Liberal Democrats have served the South West better than the other main party in the past.

He went on to say that opinion polls suggesting they will perform badly at the general election are nonsense.
