Beacons 'unite Britain' in appreciation of The Queen

In celebration of the Queen's 90th birthday on Thursday, beacons were lit across the West Country. Prince Charles said the beacons were uniting Britain in appreciation of the Queen's lifetime of service.

School sings happy birthday to The Queen from Exeter

Substituting PE for a practical lesson in the British Monarchy, this school in the West, decided to map out the number 90 in celebration of The Queen's Birthday.

Pupils at The Maynard School in Exeter sang Happy Birthday and the National Anthem to mark the milestone:
