Somerset County Cricket Club captain Chris Rogers has announced his retirement after leading his side to victory and potentially a first ever championship title.

Rogers scored back-to-back centuries in the final game of the season against Nottinghamshire, but said after the game, 'that's it from me, I'm getting old'.

Somerset could go on to claim the county championship, but need rivals Middlesex and Yorkshire to draw.
