Police investigating offer of limited edition Banksy print for anti-Tory votes

Police have confirmed they are looking into the offer of a free Banksy print in exchange for voting a certain way.

The graffiti artist is offering voters free limited edition prints if they vote against the Conservative party.

The offer is only open to those living in six constituencies - Bristol North West, Bristol West, North Somerset, Thornbury, Kingswood and Filton.

But, following "a number of complaints" to police, Avon and Somerset have said they are now investigating.

It is a criminal offence for any voter to accept or agree to accept a gift or similar in return for voting, or refraining from voting.

Any person participating in an offer to receive a gift is at risk of being prosecuted.
