Lifeboat rescue charity, RNLI have confirmed that two brothers were involved in a Treyarnon alert yesterday.
The two men had been reported as missing after being swept off rocks at Warren Cove.
A third person with them raised the alarm, causing lifeguards to arrive on the scene within minutes.
One of the men, a 21-year-old, died after being airlifted to hospital.
The brothers were part of a family party on a weekend visit to the area.
Around 100 people were involved in the initial search and rescue effort.
A body, thought to be that of one of two brothers who were swept out to sea while fishing in Cornwall, has been found.
21-year-old Charles Allen died after being airlifted to hospital. 30-year-old Dr Robert Allen has not yet been found.
The search at Treyarnon near Padstow resumed this morning. Another man found yesterday and airlifted to hospital has died.
