Plymouth's Ben Proud powers through in record time

Plymouth swimmer Ben Proud is through to the 50m freestyle final at Gold Coast 2018 after coming first in his semi-final.

In doing so, he broke the Commonwealth Games record for the second time in one day. He came through in a personal best time of 21.30.

His Plymouth Leander teammate Tom Fannon came in third place to join Proud in the final tomorrow, Tuesday 10 April.
