A World War Two bomb has been discovered near the Teignmouth coast in Devon.

It is believed to have been dropped by the German military during the war, and weighs around 600kg.

The Royal Navy bomb disposal team is at the seafront and will be working to tow the device out to sea before carrying out a controlled explosion.

The Coastguard have cordoned off part of the seafront for the public's safety.
