All Star Family Fortunes hosted by Vernon Kay returns for a new series this September. The classic game show, which started on ITV in 1979, sees two celebrities and their families go head to head in a bid to win £30,000 for the charity of their choice.
Some of the nations favourite celebrities and their families compete for the top prize of £30,000 but only if they get more than 200 points and all the top answers.
Viewers see the celebrities and their families put under pressure as they face the One Hundred People Surveyed Said…. And Double Your Money rounds. But which of the families will have enough top answers to go through to the Big Money round to win the potential £30,000?
The 14th episode of the series sees reality Coronation Street’s famous Webster family take on Emmerdale’s King clan.
Making up the Webster family are Michael LeVell who plays Kevin, his on-screen wife Sally Whittaker who plays Sally, daughters Helen Flanagan who plays Rosie and Brooke Vincent who plays Sophie and finally Pete Armitage who plays dad Bill. They are playing for Genesis Breast Cancer.
Playing against the Webster family are Emmerdale’s King family. Nick Miles who plays Jimmy King, is joined by wife Nicola De Souza played by Nicola Wheeler, brother Carl played by Tom Lister, sister Scarlet played by Kelsey-Beth Crossley and finally Chaz Dingle played by Lucy Pargeter. The Kings are playing for two charities; St Annes Community Service which supports people with mental health issues and Safe At Last which aids homeless children and teenagers.
Clearly the Kings are hugely competitive as they appear to be practising their Family Fortunes technique in-between takes on the soap!
Which of the families will end up in pole position and make it through to the Big Money round?
