All Star Family Fortunes hosted by Vernon Kay returns for a new series this September. The classic game show, which started on ITV in 1979, see two celebrities and their families go head to head in a bid to win £30,000 for the charity of their choice.

Some of the nations favourite celebrities and their families compete for the top prize of £30,000 but only if they get more than 200 points and all the top answers.

Viewers see the celebrities and their families put under pressure as they face the One Hundred People Surveyed Said…. And Double Your Money rounds. But which of the families will have enough top answers to go through to the Big Money round to win the potential £30,000?

The ninth episode of the series sees hard man and Dancing on Ice star Donal MacIntyre take on Eastender’s Charlie Brooks.

Joining Donal on his team are wife, Amera, his niece Morgan, cousin Brian and family friend and resident family psychic Tony, who Donal claims knows the answers before Vernon asks the questions. The family are playing for Born Free who Donal is an ambassador for.

Have Tony’s psychic skills interfered with the studio as every time he goes to answer a questions the studio lights dim, and Vernon ends up in the arms of Donal for protection!

And Tony’s psychic skills let him down when he give the answer “train carriage” to the question “name something that you push” , unsurprisingly the answers not on the board and on his second attempt at the question he fails to give an answer.

Joining Charlie on her team are Mum Roe, Dad Danny, Grandad Ted, and Tony her ex partner and her daughters Dad. The family are playing for the Royal Variety Club and Sparks Children’s Cancer Charity.

Which of the families will end up in pole position and make it through to the Big Money round?
