The Confederations Cup 2017: Russia v New Zeland

ITV and ITV4 will bring viewers extensive live coverage of the 2017 FIFA Confederations Cup in Russia.

The tournament, featuring eight teams, will be played across four cities in the host country. Russia, as hosts, qualified automatically for the tournament, and are joined by six winners of FIFA regional championships across the world including Euro 2016 winners Portugal, Africa Cup of Nations victors Cameroon, Copa America winners Chile, plus Australia, Mexico and New Zealand, along with 2014 world champions Germany.

Kicking off with Russia v New Zealand on Saturday June 17 on ITV, the channel’s live coverage of the tournament will feature six matches including the first two games, both semi-finals and the final on the main channel, with the rest on ITV4 and in one instance, on the ITV Sport website.

In addition to ITV’s live television coverage, itv.com/sport and ITV Football’s Twitter and Facebook pages will feature the latest news and highlights from the tournament.

Joining presenters Mark Pougatch and Jacqui Oatley in ITV Sport’s London studio are Lee Dixon, Glenn Hoddle, Matthew Upson, Mark Schwarzer and Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink.

Other key members of the ITV team include commentators Clive Tyldesley, Sam Matterface, Joe Speight and Jon Champion, as well as co-commentators Andy Townsend, Danny Higginbotham and Iain Dowie.
