Adrian Chiles introduces live coverage as England meet traditional rivals Germany in their final international of the year at Wembley.
Organised to mark the FA’s 150th birthday celebrations, the friendly will be part of both team’s preparations for next year’s World Cup in Brazil.
The Three Lions last played host to Germany in August 2007, in the second international to be played at the new Wembley. However, Roy Hodgson’s men may be seeking to avenge a 4-1 defeat in Bloemfontein at the last World Cup in which Frank Lampard had a ‘goal’ controversially disallowed before Germany ran rampant.
England will be hoping the early-season good form of Andros Townsend, Daniel Sturridge and Wayne Rooney carries on into a match which is seared into the national consciousness.
Among the dangermen for Joachim Low’s team, which reached the semi-finals in that 2010 World Cup and at Euro 2012, could be Arsenal’s Mesut Ozil, Chelsea’s Andre Schurrle, and Bayern Munich midfielder Mario Gotze.
Joining Adrian in the studio at Wembley are former Germany captain and Chelsea midfielder Michael Ballack and Lee Dixon, while commentary comes from Clive Tyldesley and Andy Townsend.
