In this episode, the news that Pete and Emily are expecting a baby is now public knowledge. Girlfriend Emily moves in and the couple talk about the pregnancy and how excited they are to welcome a new addition to the family. With a baby on the way, and new found DIY skills courtesy of fronting ’60 Minute Makeover’, the nesting instinct kicks in and Pete embarks on some home improvement, starting with fixing a new fish tank to the dining table.
Agent Claire calls Pete in for a meeting to discuss the big news and outline his schedule for the next few weeks. Pete’s not one to do things by halves and he’s launching not one but two new fragrances, with a nationwide signing tour to boot. But when he finds out he’s going to be signing in Oxford Street central London he starts to panic that no one will turn up.
The next day starts with a successful television appearance on This Morning but as the team travels up to Oxford Street for the perfume signing Pete fights to overcome his nerves. However, on arrival, all his fears vanish when he’s mobbed by fans and press. When they arrive in Watford for the next stop on the signing tour they’re once again overwhelmed by the numbers of fans who have turned out. They round the day off by a stay in the Presidential suite of a posh hotel – cue lots of Pete-style humour and dodgy impressions of Bill Clinton.
The fragrance tour is Emily’s first experience of meeting Pete’s loyal fans and she takes it all in her stride, touched that so many people are excited to see her too. The rest of the road trip exceeds all expectations and the team returns home on a high. Then it’s up to London for the TV Choice awards and the couple’s first red carpet appearance since confirming the pregnancy. All eyes are on Pete and Emily as the show has been nominated for the reality TV award.
Back at home Pete and Emily are settling into domestic bliss and together with Junior and Princess they decide to host a big family dinner for all the Andre brothers. But having the family close means that Pete’s thoughts turn to the one person who should be there too – brother Andrew who tragically passed away last year. Pete explains that he’s still struggling to come to terms with the loss but it’s his loved ones that keep him going.
With a new baby on the way and a packed work schedule ahead of the birth, Pete’s life is more hectic than ever.
