This Spring sees the arrival of Edge of Heaven, a brand new comedy drama series on ITV. The series will chart life at Margate’s finest (and indeed only!) 1980s themed B&B.
Wham! loving Judy, played by Camille Coduri (Him & Her, Doctor Who) runs the Edge Of Heaven guesthouse which is also home to her breakfast enthusiast husband Tandeep, played by Nitin Kundra (Steel River Blues) and her two grown up kids – loser in love Alfie, played by Blake Harrison (The Inbetweeners) and his de-mobbed soldier sister, Ann-Marie, played by Laura Checkley.
Alfie is a man with his life and future in Margate all planned out ahead of him, until his fiancée Carly, played by Justine Michelle Cain (WPC56, Some Girls) leaves him at the altar.
Carly’s best friend is Michelle, played by Louisa Lytton (EastEnders, The Bill) a sweet girl who’s always had a soft spot for Alfie.
Nanny Mo, played by Marcia Warren (Vicious, Jam and Jerusalem) is Alfie’s smart as a tack grandmother who lives with his Uncle and partner, both called Gary - Adrian Scarborough (Miranda, Gavin and Stacey) and Robert Evans (Stella).
Written and created by Robert Evans (Stella, Sadie J), the series follows the organised chaos of the Taylor-Chatterjee family.
Make sure you check into the Edge of Heaven B&B this Spring on ITV.
