Dom Joly’s comedy series Fool Britannia (6 x 30min) commissioned for a second series
Siobhan Greene, Director of Entertainment ITV Studios UK said: “We are thrilled to be working with Dom on a second series of Fool Britannia. Dom and the team are full of new characters and ideas, and we are so looking forward to building on what was done on the first series.”
John Kaye Cooper, Controller of Entertainment, ITV adds: "We're delighted that Dom returns with Fool Britannia and his own blend of pranks and set ups."
Fool Britannia, which premiered on ITV in September 2012, is back with a brand new series. Award-winning comedian Dom Joly will be bringing a whole host of brand new characters and set-ups to fool an unsuspecting British public. Travelling the length and breadth of the country, Dom will prove once again that it doesn’t matter who we are or where we are from… push the right buttons and we’re still just as gullible as ever.
Fool Britannia is executive produced by Lee Connolly and series produced by Greg Bower for ITV Studios. The second series is commissioned by John Kaye Cooper.
