ITV commissions new daytime quiz show Take on the Twisters
30 x 60 series to debut in the summer
ITV Daytime has commissioned Take on the Twisters, a brand new quiz show from 12 Yard, the ITV Studios owned indie and producers of long-running quiz shows Eggheads, Perfection, In It To Win It and Who Dares Wins. The 30 x 60 series will debut on ITV this summer.
Hosted by Julia Bradbury, Take on the Twisters is a nail-biting quiz show featuring eight 'Twisters', giant timers which each run for a different length of time. Contestants must use a combination of knowledge and strategy to defeat their opponents in order to Take on the Twisters, where they have the chance to win thousands of pounds. The format features a combination of quick-fire and multiple-choice questions allowing viewers of all quizzing abilities to play along at home.

Take on the Twisters was commissioned by Controller of Popular Factual, Jo Clinton-Davies and ITV Factual and Daytime Commissioning Editor Diana Howie. The format was developed by Liz Gaskell and Josephine Brassey. The series producer is Stefan Iriarte and the Executive producers are Matt Walton and Michael Mannes.
